Building a Resilient Human Resourced Organization
When we tackle obstacles, we find hidden reserves of courage and resilience we did not know we had. And it is only when we are faced with failure, do we realize that these resources were always there within us. We only need to find them and move on with our lives.
Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity (natural or manmade), trauma, tragedy, threats or other significant sources of stress — such as personal problems, serious health issues or workplace and financial stressors, and "bouncing
back" from difficult experiences. Resilient people are able to utilize their skills and strengths to cope with and recover from problems and challenges and contribute to their personal and professional development.
COVID-19 Pandemic has affected the humankind - both personally and professionally.
Human Capital management is a discipline dealing with psychology, sociology, economics and, management. We need to consider the rapid changes in the world that happen due to the rapid growth of economics among other
reasons, changing the very principles of work and the demands from modern employees. Hence, the need for building effective Human Resilience. And this is the theme of the Summit.
In our National Resilience Summit, organised on 15th March 2019 in Mumbai, the focus was primarily on Organisational Resilience and revolved around Continuity Process, Crisis Planning, Risk Management,
Data Security, Information Security, and Cyber Resilience. In this summit, let us focus on making our Human Capital more resilient, thereby making the organisations more Robust.
